Eureka Goes Green

While many moving and storage companies throw away used materials, Eureka has found it cost effective to recycle many of its office and packing items. We recycle up to 500,000 pounds of cardboard, 100,000 pounds of office paper and 10,000 pounds of plastic each year. It's not only good for the environment but it also makes great business sense. Every recycling dollar goes back towards the purchase of new packing and office materials. It's a win, win situation

and a best practice toward building a better environment.

Sponsor of the Boy Scouts of America

Eureka is a proud supporter of local Troop 158 of the Boy Scouts of America. Eureka provides storage facilities and transportation for their annual landscaping project. This aids with the training and volunteer programs that are vital to the

development of the Troop’s members.

Proud Sponsor of the Wounded Warrior Project

Through Eureka's business to business networking efforts with the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, we were able to establish a national account program to aid our troops. 2% of each local and intrastate move's transportation charges will be donated to the Wouded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project's mission is to honor and empower wounded veterans and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members. We are honored to serve those who serve. Thank you.

Eureka Business Development and Networking

Since 1982, the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce has served as the doorway to business growth and development along the Dulles Business Corridor. The Reston Chamber represents a geographic area blessed by a strong economy fueled by the strong concentration of technology companies and government prime and subcontractors. Eureka Van and Storage participates with the Greater Reston Chamber on several levels including the bi-weekly leadshare group.

Move for Hunger

As you may be aware, many people throw out a good deal of “stuff” when they move.  Unfortunately, a lot of this “stuff” is food that could be delivered to a family in need rather than thrown away.  That’s where Move for Hunger comes in. By teaming up with moving companies across the country, Move For Hunger is creating one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs. Movers like Eureka offer to pick up the unwanted, non-perishable food items from those who are moving and deliver it to their local food banks.
